What are the benefits of the UDP scheme over your private scheme?+
Patients on the UDP scheme have discounted fees off our private fees.
I have been registered at the practice under the NHS scheme will I automatically switched to the UDP scheme?+
Yes, your registration will be changed to the UDP scheme. Unless you have an exemption (these are listed under our NHS section).
How often do I have to visit the dentist?+
The dentist will recommend the length of time between your recall appointments, this may be 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.
How long will I be registered for as a UDP patient?+
You are registered for two years under the UDP scheme, if you fail to have a routine check-up within two years, you will lose your registration.
I am a new patient to the practice can I join the UDP scheme?+
No, only patients registered at the practice on the NHS before October 2023 are able to join the UDP scheme.
Can I join a practice membership scheme if I am a UDP patient?+
You are welcome to join our practice membership scheme (Practice Plan), however the UDP discount is the most cost effective option due to the discount.
Will I know how much my treatment will cost?+
Yes, you will be given a treatment estimate with a quotation for your proposed treatment.
Do I have to pay for my treatment in a lump sum?+
We kindly ask for payment after each visit, these visits can be scheduled at a convenient time frame to yourself.
Are all treatments available on the UDP scheme?+
Not all treatments are available on the UDP scheme, cosmetic treatment options remain a private option.
