What to expect from my check up or consultation appointment

At your check-up appointment we will provide a thorough examination.

It is not just the teeth that we are looking at, we also check the health of your gums for signs of gum disease (the leading cause of tooth loss). Also, as part of your oral cancer screening we will examine the soft tissues in your mouth at every examination.

At your examination appointment we will also provide preventative care, oral hygiene advice and take dental x-rays as and when required.

For us to be able to advise the most effective and comprehensive check-up it would be helpful if you could advise us for any medication you are taking, this will help us give you the most suitable advice for you and unable us to establish any risk factors.
